Plasma from lithium heparin, sodium heparin or EDTA is also acceptable
(2 tiger tops are preferred)

Result values of >/= 1.00 = Reactive
Result values 0.90 – 0.99 = Grayzone (equivocal)
Result values 0.00 – 0.90 = Non-Reactive
All reactive or grayzone (equivocal) results must be repeated in duplicate and sent to Mayo for confirmation testing.
