Specimen Type: Urine

Container/Tube: Urine container

Specimen Volume: Entire collection

Collection Instructions: If the need for culture is anticipated, collect the specimen by clean catch or catheter. 

Additional Information:

1. Deliver urine to the laboratory within 1/2 hour of collection.

2. Refrigerate if any delay in transportation.
