Additional Information: Specimens must be brought to the lab within four hours of collection. See transport temperature for details.
Specimen Transport Temperature
Plasma may be held at room temperature (20 5 °C) for a maximum of four (4) hours or separated, double-spun, and frozen at -20 to -80 °C in a plastic tube.
Specimens that are centrifuged and plasma separated from the cells can be kept for four hours refrigerated or at room temperature.
