Container/Tube: Dark-green top

Specimen Volume: Full tube

Collection Instructions: Do not open tube prior to testing

Additional Information:

1. Specimen must be collected at HRRMC. Order Mayo Ionized calcium if collecting off-site from main campus

2. Must be analyzed immediately, within 30 minutes of collection

Rroom temp, deliver to lab ASAP

4.6-5.2 mg/dL

Critical value: <3.6 and >6.0 mg/dL
