Specimen Type: Serum
Container/Tube: Red top tube preferred, serum gel acceptable
Specimen Volume: Full tube

Collection Instructions: Plasma is not acceptable.
Additional Information: Blood should be drawn at least 6 hours after administration of the drug to obtain assay values that more readily reflect physiology values.
